Holiday Fruit Salad
2 cans of mixed fruit cocktail, no sugar ( leave juice)
2 cans of peaches, no sugar (leave juice)
2 cans of chopped pineapple (leave juice)
1-1/2 pounds of fresh strawberries (sliced)
1 pound of grapes (sliced)
2 bananas (sliced)
1 apple (chopped)
1 box sugar free vanilla pudding
Take the juice from all the cans and pour into the bowl. Add in the box of vanilla pudding. Mix the pudding and juice well! Then add in the fruits and mix. That is all there is to it. Serve however you like. This is delicious alone or with whipped cream, or you can even add it on a bit of Greek yogurt.
Our family has had this dish at family dinners and holidays as long as I can remember. My mom passed the recipe down to me and it has continued. It isn’t a holiday dinner without it! Everyone loves it and it is requested at church dinners and other events as well!
