Marriage is such a blessing. But it is in no way a cake walk, as I’ve learned over the past 10 years. There is only so far that our own love or determination can take us. We need to rely on God if we want to experience a blessed marriage.
The truth is that only God, the author of marriage, can help us sustain it in the long run. I’ve found the Bible to be of great help in my own marriage. There is life in God’s Word that can inspire you to breathe love into your own marriage.
Here are 8 verses that have helped on my own marital journey. I pray they are a blessing to you as well.
