Bible in a Year for Tweens

Bible in a Year (for tweens)

Thomas Nelson recently published a new Bible in a Year aimed at tweens (ages 9-12) but can be used by the entire family. This new book is written in the easy to understand New Century Version (NCV) of the Bible. It comes complete with an illustrated timeline in the front, illustrated full-color maps, a notes section (that is divided up monthly), top memory verses, essential Bible teachings, and more.

From the publisher:

Kids can read through the entire Bible in one year!

Our children need to make every day God’s day, and nothing will help them do that more than reading His Word. The unique Bible in a Year with New Century Version® text guides kids to easily read through the entire Bible in 365 days. The simple-to-understand language is divided into daily portions that include selections from both the Old and New Testaments, as well as Psalms and Proverbs.

This book retails for $19.99 and can be purchased for less here.

This would be a great Bible for my daughter and I to use together. I really want to read the Bible in a year and I definitely want her to have the same experience. One of my resolutions is not only to read more on a personal level, but to read the Bible more often. This Bible seems like it would meet both of our needs at this point since I still consider myself a new Christian and she needs a more challenging Bible. This would give us both something to do together but would provide us with the needed direction. Thank you for the chance to win it!
