An Open Letter To Work-at-Home Homeschooling Moms

Open Letter Graphic

Dear Work-at-Home, Overwhelmed, Overworked, and Underpaid Homeschooling Mom,

You are not alone.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ~Isaiah 41:10

I know that you are overwhelmed.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  ~2 Corinthians 12:9

I know that you are overworked.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. ~Colossians 3:23

I know that you are underpaid.

Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. ~Proverbs 13:11

I also know that you were called to complete a great big task.  God did not lead you to homeschooling while you work at home as a punishment.  He did not lead you to this life to cause you pain or to create strife in your life.  God called you to this because He knew you could do it!  He knew that you could succeed.  He loves you and wants you to prosper.  He wants you to call upon Him when you are in need.

So work-at-home, overwhelmed, overworked, and underpaid homeschooling mom, you are chosen. You are loved by a King who created you for this purpose.  I am here for you.  I love you and I want to help you if there is anyway that I can.  I look forward to encouraging you through this season in your life.

Thanks for these encouraging words! It’s just what I needed today. I know God has provided these 4 part time jobs. I trust Him each day to provide the time to be able to work at them. Great website you have here. :)
