This summer we are going to start doing some “themes” during the week to give the children (specifically the little guys) something to look forward to. Tuesday’s are going to be deemed as “interpretation” days and will give the children a chance to learn and express themselves thru mediums such as painting, singing, cooking, baking, or what ever way we choose.
In light of the recent weather back home in the states, today we spent time talking about tornadoes and how they form. We talked about the beauty of God’s creation as well as the destruction it can cause. Following our mini-lesson on tornadoes, the children painted. It was so neat to see their interpretations of what they had just learned thru painting – you can see some of them in the pictures below.
